Bronx-Westchester Area Health Education (BWAHEC) Center Internship Program

BWAHEC provides students who are interested in health professions an opportunity to explore health careers and gain experience in a health care setting. Our interns are placed in hospitals, health centers, and community organizations throughout the Bronx and Westchester. Our goal is to help cultivate the next generation of health professionals who will serve our communities.

BWAHEC offers spring, summer and fall internship programs. Each internship program varies in length and commitment.

Please be aware that there are a limited number of internship positions available and acceptance into the program is based upon the application process and your adherence to the guidelines provided with the application.
